He came from the sea to destroy Earth.  She came from the sea to save it.

Tide High is sci-fi action fantasy.  An original CGI/hybrid, whose rich and imaginative 'underworld' meshes with today's realities.
It's a concept which can be executed in a virtually all broadcast and internet media.
We've developed the Tide High universe, the Origin Story (which reaches back to the mesozoic and the extinction of dinosaurs), and written the springboards and premises for a wealth of episodic stories.  We're working to get Tide High produced on a single 'CGI/hybrid platform which can apply to every form of the idea's expression, from movies, through television and game formats.  Tide High is also a perfect basis for a series of graphic novels..

The creative team behind Tide High includes old hands and  brand new talents.  I've worked with Chris Trengove for a number of years, starting way before ThunderCats.  He's one of Europe's most respected animation gurus and has agreed to work on development and story editing - a major coup for us.
Legendary designer and animation visionary, Takashi, is making his contributions, in design and concept.
But as vital to the originality and energy of the show as the experienced members of the creative and development team are the new names  joining us.

Tide High's action takes place in the present day, though the seminal moment that initiated it occurred millions of years ago.
Above and below the sea, human and alien characters interact, fighting desperately to preserve or change the conditions they need in order to survive.
Nothing is quite as clear as it seems and often the line between villain and hero is blurred.  After all, if you are an alien intruder to Planet Earth, and your species requires polluted, warming, oxygen depleted waters in which to thrive, you are surely a hero to your kind if you can create those conditions.  And if you're a human, fighting for the existence of life on earth as we know it, you are equally heroic.  Yet to the alien, mankind is the villain just as, to mankind, the alien is the villain.  Point of view is everything.
The stories of Tide High are centered on a mysterious Southern California high school which sits on the bluffs near Santa Barbara.  What is it about his mysterious campus?  Before the school, there was a Spanish mission and before that a Russian orthodox church. Before that a sweat lodge and before that a sacrificial mound. And so the enigma of this location goes back to before recorded history, before oral traditions - perhaps to the very beginnings of human evolution.  Only by tapping into its arcane treasure trove of learning can the students of Tide High save Planet Earth.

New and original talents for a new and original show

        Picture
One of the great pleasures of producing The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest was the mix of talents working on the production.  Many of the artists and writers have gone on to great success on other shows and in other media.
I met computer and electronics wizard, Jim Beem, a few years ago and continue to be amazed by his all-embracing knowledge of animation and gaming.  There isn't a show, a game or a concept out there that Jim hasn't analyzed but, more than that, he has a genuinely original mind.  The imagination and enthusiasm he brings to the project far outweigh his lack of writing or production experience. Jim introduced me to designers and artists, Curry Ross and Jefferson Clapp.  Neither has worked in this area before and they have brought the project much more than pure design talent.  Their ideas, their enthusiasm and their sometimes difficult questions have been inspirational.

                                  The development continues.

We're in discussions with financiers, producers and buyers.
